Prime HealthCare Urology

Urology, often referred to as genitourinary surgery, is a branch of medicine specialized toward surgical and medical conditions of the female and male urinary tract systems and the reproductive organs. Urology procedures commonly involve the urinary bladder, ureters, urethra, kidneys, adrenal glands, and the reproductive organs.

Our urology division at Prime HealthCare operates in two unique groups. Each team features board-certified urologists, nurse practitioners, and additional staff, all skilled in delivering innovative, minimally invasive urologic solutions. These professional teams are dedicated to offering top-notch, empathetic care, with our state-of-the-art equipment and cutting-edge technology. Our clinics shine with a comforting, patient-focused atmosphere.

We take a holistic approach to patient care, always keeping our patients as the central focus of their integrated care plans. We emphasize patient education, making every effort to explain and keep you informed of your medical condition and ensuring you fully understand the available treatment options. Collaborative decision-making is key; we never make decisions about treatments without including the patient. It’s your body, and you’re in charge.

Procedures and surgeries undertaken by our doctors are performed at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, Connecticut. These include diagnostic procedures in addition to a wide array of urologic surgeries, ensuring we provide comprehensive care for all our patients. With Prime HealthCare, we want you to know your urologic needs are in safe, experienced hands.
